Port Dickson
Port Dickson’s commercial waterfront developed around petroleum refining and maritime trade on the Strait of Malacca. Tanker facilities connect the refinery area with seaborne supplies and product movements, giving energy cargoes a defining place in the port’s industrial role.
Its operating infrastructure has undergone a significant disruption. Petron reported that its product jetty collapsed during a storm in November 2025. In its second-quarter 2026 update, the company said limited refinery operations had resumed while construction of a replacement jetty continued.
That work is relevant to any assessment of the waterfront’s present capabilities. Port Dickson retains its refinery and shipping context, but older descriptions of the petroleum berths do not establish which loading facilities are available during the reconstruction period.
