F.A.Q.

What data is available through the API?

With the service, you can obtain the container’s movement history, its current location and status, estimated arrival times, as well as carrier information. The list of supported shipping lines and rail operators available for tracking is provided via the link.

How can I get access to the API?

API access is already included in the subscription. The secret key is generated in your account under the “API for Developers” tab, where you can also find a link to the documentation.

How often is container data updated?

Data is automatically updated twice a day. If needed, you can also manually trigger an update.

How much does API usage cost?

You pay once per tracked container for a full month. Requests to refresh information are not billed separately, and API access is already included in your subscription.

How can I check my current limits?

The remaining number of trackings for the current month can be found in your account under the “Plans & Billing” tab, as well as via an API request. You can increase your tracking limit by upgrading your plan.

Can I test the API before purchasing?

Yes, we offer all customers a trial period. For legal entities, we provide extended trial access on individual terms upon a written request.
