Port of Rosslare

Rosslare Europort centres on ferry services carrying passengers and road freight to Britain and continental Europe. Roll-on/roll-off operations allow lorries, trailers and other vehicles to move directly between ships and the shore, making road transport central to its cargo business.

The port also handles trade vehicles, agricultural machinery, bulk freight and oversized loads. These activities broaden its role beyond routine ferry traffic, with port facilities supporting equipment and consignments that require different arrangements for loading, storage and collection.

Road and passenger rail connections link the harbour with the wider transport network.
