Port of Rodman
Rodman is the site of PSA Panama’s container terminal at the Pacific entrance to the Panama Canal. Developed on the former naval base, the terminal places commercial cargo handling beside one of the principal connections between Atlantic and Pacific shipping routes.
Its quay, ship-to-shore cranes and container yards support the movement of boxes between vessels and the terminal. The facility forms part of a port network serving trade between the Americas, Europe and Asia, with landside operations handling the onward movement of containers.
Road access is provided through the Pacific Logistic Corridor, a route for heavy traffic linking the terminal with the highway towards the Atlantic coast. This connection gives Rodman a land transport role alongside its maritime position, joining container handling on the Pacific waterfront with logistics movements across the isthmus.
