Perawang Port

Perawang is a river port serving an industrial area of Riau through the Siak waterway. The river connects its cargo facilities with the Strait of Malacca, giving local producers a waterborne route towards international shipping lanes.

Pelindo’s container terminal at Perawang supports industrial exports and has a dedicated stacking yard. This provides the landward storage area for boxes moving between vessels and inland transport, alongside the quay where containers are loaded and discharged.

The terminal’s equipment includes a mobile harbour crane for lifting cargo and reach stackers for moving containers within the yard. Side-loading equipment, terminal trucks and forklifts are also listed by the operator, supporting the handling stages within the terminal.
