Port of Montoir De Bretagne

Montoir combines energy imports, industrial freight and container handling within the Nantes–Saint-Nazaire port system. Its separate terminals serve several supply chains, from animal feed and construction materials to vehicles and aircraft sections, with road, rail and inland waterway connections extending beyond the quays.

The Elengy terminal receives liquefied natural gas, while the bulk terminal handles agricultural commodities and materials for building and civil engineering. Nearby industrial activities include seed processing, fertiliser production and cement, giving the port a close connection with regional manufacturing and farming.

A roll-on, roll-off terminal handles cargo carried aboard on wheels, including trailers and new vehicles. The TGO terminal adds container and general cargo handling, together with heavy industrial loads such as wind turbine components.
