Yizheng Port

Yizheng’s working waterfront forms part of the Yangtze industrial corridor, with chemical terminals and public cargo facilities serving the riverside economy. The surrounding industrial base includes chemical fibre production and vehicle manufacturing, giving the river frontage a close connection with processing and production.

The chemical terminal cluster handles vessel movements within a busy river environment. A maritime supervision platform introduced in 2023 combines information on berths, vessels and the navigation channel, drawing on radar, vessel identification and weather and water observations.

Public wharf operations also use digital systems to monitor cargo-handling processes. These facilities sit within a waterfront that has undergone extensive reorganisation, including the removal of older shipyard installations and the redevelopment of riverbank sites for modern port and industrial uses.
