Sarjak Container Lines was founded in 2003 in Mumbai, India, initially specializing in the transport of oversized and out-of-gauge cargo (ODC/OOG) — a niche that few carriers addressed at the time.

Over time, the company expanded its service scope into general container liner operations, project logistics, flat-rack and open-top container movements, and established a footprint in more than 80 countries with service to over 270 ports.

What sets Sarjak apart is its ability to handle non-standard containerised cargo—such as heavy machinery, large modules, and infrastructure project components—while combining that with more regular liner services. The company’s equipment pool includes flat-racks, hard-tops, open-tops and custom gear designed for complex loads.
