Nirint Shipping B.V., headquartered in Barendrecht near Rotterdam in the Netherlands, was incorporated in 1985 and specialises in multipurpose liner shipping with a strong focus on trade between Europe, the Caribbean, and Asia. The company handles containers, breakbulk, project cargoes, roll-on/roll-off (RoRo) and oversized equipment — offering flexibility beyond standard container lanes.

Its route network includes services from Europe to the Caribbean and back, from Asia to the Caribbean, from Asia to Canada, and between Canada and Europe, with ports of call such as Rotterdam, Antwerp, Bilbao, Hamburg, Willemstad, Aruba, Curacao, Halifax and others. While its scale is modest compared to global mega-carriers, Nirint emphasises “thinking outside the box” and accepts cargo types and port calls that many liner operators may decline.

Nirint has announced service enhancements and new vessel deployments specifically for the Dutch Caribbean and Cuba, underlining its niche in less-common trade lanes.
