Cheng Lie Navigation Company (CNC) Container Tracking

CNC Line, formally known as Cheng Lie Navigation Company, is a Taiwan-based container shipping operator focused primarily on intra-Asia and regional trade routes. The company was founded in 1971 in Taipei and initially developed as a regional carrier linking Taiwan with nearby Asian markets. Over time, CNC expanded its network to cover Southeast Asia, South China, Japan, and parts of South Asia, positioning itself as a specialist in short-haul container services.

A major turning point in the company’s history came in 2007, when CNC became part of the CMA CGM Group. Since then, CNC has continued to operate as a distinct regional brand while benefiting from the commercial reach and operational backing of one of the world’s largest container shipping groups. This structure allows CNC to concentrate on feeder and intra-regional services that connect secondary ports with major transshipment hubs.

CNC’s services are designed around frequent sailings, relatively small and medium-sized vessels, and flexible routing—features that suit regional supply chains where speed, reliability, and access to smaller ports are critical. The line handles standard containerised cargo and supports refrigerated and specialised equipment on selected routes.
