Port of Alanya

Alanya’s harbour brings cruise passengers close to the city they have come to visit. The medieval castle above the waterfront is both a landmark and part of the destination’s appeal. The cruise terminal’s relationship with the town helps make the port a starting point for exploring on foot or joining an organised excursion.

Passenger traffic defines the terminal’s purpose. Its berthing facilities form part of a compact harbour enclosed by jetties, with the town rising behind it. This setting connects the arrival experience closely with Alanya’s historic waterfront.

Visits can also extend into the surrounding area, where beaches, caves and archaeological attractions feature in official destination information. The port’s economic role is tied to those passenger movements and their links with local tourism businesses.
