Port of Novorossiysk

Novorossiysk’s terminals on Tsemess Bay connect Black Sea shipping with inland cargo flows. Grain exports and container movements are important parts of this trade, supported by specialised waterfront facilities and connections for receiving or dispatching goods ashore.

NUTEP handles containers alongside general and wheeled cargo, with rail infrastructure supporting movements between the terminal and inland destinations. KSK provides a separate grain handling operation. These facilities illustrate the range of cargo businesses operating within the wider port rather than a single uniform terminal.

Grain can also reach the export chain through river-sea vessel movements before transfer to ocean-going ships. The combination of rail access, marine handling and distinct cargo terminals allows Novorossiysk to link inland production and distribution with longer maritime routes.
