Sinotrans Limited, headquartered in Beijing, China, is one of the country’s largest integrated logistics and transport enterprises. The company, originally founded in 2002 (though its roots extend back to earlier state-owned trade transport organisations) operates across sea, air, rail and road freight, as well as warehousing, terminals and supply-chain services.

Sinotrans serves a wide spectrum of industries — from automotive, chemicals and energy to consumer goods, e-commerce and new-technology supply chains. With a global reach covering more than 40 countries and regions, the company combines domestic Chinese strength with international logistics infrastructure.

Sinotrans is actively involved in the “rail-land bridge” initiatives between China and Europe under China’s Belt & Road agenda. For example, it runs China-Europe freight train services and has linked cities such as Shenzhen to Duisburg in Germany. Another noteworthy item: its contract-logistics arm manages vast assets inside China — for instance, more than 4.3 million m² of warehousing in over 100 cities.
