Maxicon Container Line, established in Singapore in December 2004, operates as a Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC), serving a wide network across South-East Asia, the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East and the Far East. Initially starting with a modest capacity to cover India’s east coast, over the years Maxicon has expanded its operations to cover dozens of countries and ports — today the line claims presence in more than 22 countries through a network of 70+ ports and inland container depots (ICDs). Though relatively young compared to century-old carriers, Maxicon has built a substantial container inventory (reported in the tens of thousands of TEU) and steadily expanded its regional reach since inception, becoming one of the recognised NVOCCs in South-East Asia and the Indian Subcontinent.
As a NVOCC, Maxicon does not own a large fleet of vessels but rather charters capacity and specialises in coordinating container shipments, often using its own container equipment. Its services include full container loads (FCL), less-than-container loads (LCL), and handling of project cargo and non-standard shipments — including flat-racks, open-top containers and other special equipment aimed at oversized or non-standard cargoes.
The flexibility in container types — from standard dry containers to open-top and flat-rack solutions — gives Maxicon an operational advantage when dealing with oversized or irregular cargoes that might not fit standard container constraints.
