Yanbu Commercial Port
Yanbu Commercial Port combines cargo handling and passenger facilities on the Red Sea coast. General and bulk cargo berths support the movement of goods through the harbour, while grain silos provide storage infrastructure for an important part of its bulk trade.
The passenger terminal adds a separate transport function to the commercial waterfront. Together, these facilities give the port a mixed role, with distinct areas serving freight movements, commodity storage and people travelling by sea. Its links ashore connect marine arrivals with the surrounding regional economy.
This commercial harbour is separate from the King Fahd industrial port farther south. That distinction matters because Yanbu’s industrial petroleum terminals and the commercial port have different facilities and cargo functions, despite sharing the same city name.
